The Quad is designed to accommodate high-density DirecTV receiver drops from a single location such as a telecom room or IDF. It is a rack mountable chassis with a powder-coated black faceplate and silkscreened label to identify ports.

A green LED indicator provides power on/off status. All six DirecTV signal polarities are accommodated with inputs to the unit and up to 32 receivers can be provided access to all signals with MFH2™ .
